Play To Win!

In addition to great library of both new and old games, we have our very own Play to Win section! Board Games donated to this section are available to be play and won at the convention. It’s a simple enough process:

    1. Play the game!
    2. We record your name AND everyone else who played with you!
    3. On the last day of the con, we hold a raffle where everyone who played that particular game has a chance to win the game and take it home with them!

It’s that simple to win a game in our Play to Win section. You don’t have to win. You don’t have to pay money. You just have to PLAY!

We want to thank the companies who have so far donated games to our Play to Win Section:

  • Companies represented by Double Exposure Envoy Program!
  • Slugfest Games!
  • Stonemaier Games!

D & D Adventurers League

MomoCon is proud to offer Adventurers League, the D&D 5th edition organized play campaign.

Dungeons & Dragons is the world’s most popular role-playing game. D&D is about storytelling in worlds of sword and sorcery. D&D gives structure to the stories, a way of determining the consequences of the adventurers’ action. Players roll dice to resolve whether their attacks hit or miss or whether their adventurers can scale a cliff, roll away from the strike of a magical lightning bolt, or pull off some other dangerous task. Anything is possible, but the dice make some outcomes more probable than others. In D&D, each player creates an adventurer (also called a character) and teams up with other adventurers (played by friends). Working together, the group might explore a dark dungeon, a ruined city, a haunted castle, a lost temple deep in a jungle, or a lava-filled cavern beneath a mysterious mountain. The adventurers can solve puzzles, talk with other characters, battle fantastic monsters, and discover fabulous magic items and other treasure.

Technically not played on a table, but no less important, MomoCon is happy to welcome back several LARP events during the evenings! LARP (Live Action Role Playing) is an interactive game where the participants portray the characters through physical action, costume and/or props. We offer LARPs for all ages, some kid-specific, some restricted to only older audiences.

Specific LARP info for 2025 coming soon!

Social Deduction Gaming

Our Deduction Gaming department focuses on running hidden role games that require you to use social cues and deduction. Many of our games are geared towards deceit and deception can often gain you the upper hand. If you enjoy online games such as Among Us or Town of Salem, then come join us for that same type of game style in person at Momocon!

Ultimate Werewolf

Ultimate Werewolf is a hidden role game in which the Village team and the Werewolf team are battling for survival. It plays much like Mafia or Town of Salem, with eliminations being the key tool in getting rid of the other team. The Village team can only secure their victory when all Werewolves are eliminated, while the Werewolves only need to survive until parity. Do you have what it takes to survive? Come join us for this exciting game of wits and deception!

Blood on the Clocktower

Another game of the hidden roles fashion, Blood on the Clocktower boasts significant changes from the original concept:

1) players who are eliminated get to remain in the game as ghosts with speaking and voting power

2) all players have a role with some type of special ability

3) Certain conditions allow even moderators to take action in the deception!

This game remains one of the most thought provoking and brain challenging games in our department.

Two Rooms and a Boom

Two Rooms and a Boom is a quickly-paced social game that takes place across two rooms. The focus is between two teams with opposing goals, and all players are split evenly between the rooms. During each round, you must communicate and exchange information to establish trust and find your allies, and how you work together can turn the tides in your team’s favor. This game is relatively 15-25 minutes long. Do you think you can assist your team to victory?

Small Game Library

If you are interested in games that are quicker, smaller, and able to be run without a moderator, we have a wide variety of options! Our small game library contains hidden role games that are typically meant for 12 people and under. This includes games like Coup, Love Letter, Salem 1692, and more! Come hang out with us for some casual deception if you happen to be waiting for bigger games!
