Cara was born in Colorado, moved around a whole bunch, earned her BFA in Sequential Art at SCAD-Atlanta, then moved around some more until the woods finally claimed her. From there she works in the local library and creates comics and illustrations for companies that include Marvel (Captain America, Marvel Voices), Comixology (.Self), IDW (Star Wars Adventures), DC (Black Canary: Ignite), BOOM! (Dodge City, Over the Garden Wall), Chronicle Books, Cards Against Humanity, and more.
