We are no longer accepting panel submissions for MomoCon 2026

IMPORTANT DATES for MOMOCON SUBMISSIONS:
2/15 FINAL DEADLINE for all submissions
3/15 Submitters receive approval/denial emails (please note some emails may come a few days later)
3/31 Deadline for panelist schedule change requests.
Please note the 3/31 locked date pertains to currently accepted panels. Waitlist panels may be called after this date and should not expect a firm confirmation until closer to the event.

Panel submissions received before midnight Eastern time of the above deadlines will be considered for that event. Response emails are being sent out in March for MomoCon.

🎸Have a Band or Want to Put on a Musical Performance?
- Bands and musical performances with a lot of production needs (lots of equipment, travel compensation needs, large groups, etc.) go through guest/performers form found on our Guest Application Linked Here.
Does Your Panel Require Tables?
- If your panel requires tables and it is not a workshop, (i.e. bingo, swap panels, etc.) we will have a room with tables available on Thurs & Fri only, so please indicate availability for those days when submitting.
Are You Submitting a Panel on the Topics of Mental Health?
- You will need to provide medical or clinical credentials to have your panel accepted.
Is your Panel an In-Character Panel?
- If so, panelists submitting in-character panels ideally should have improv training/experience. If you have this experience please put this in the qualification section of the panel submission form, and/or if you were a panelist in the past for an in-character panel include which year and panel(s) you were a part of.
What Kind of Content is Allowed on My Panel?

MomoCon is an all-ages show, so panels should be kept to a PG-13 rating at most.

MomoCon does NOT have 18+ or “after dark” panels, and panels with those themes will be rejected outright.
Does Your Panel Consist of Live-Combat/Sparing Sessions?
- If so you will need to provide your own insurance in order to allow attendees to participate. If you have questions you can email info@momocon.com for more clarification.
Is there Prize Support for Panels?
- MomoCon does not offer prize support for panels. Anything given out at the panel will need to be provided by the panelist.
What if I need to Charge a Fee to Cover Costs for a Panel?
- If you are wanting to charge a fee for a panel, this will need to be worked out well ahead of time. Reach out to panels@momocon.com to get that process started.
Screening Full Episodes?
- Permissions from the license holders are needed to play full episodes of anything. If you want to see a specific anime screened, send your request to info@momocon.com.
No Dating Shows
- MomoCon does not host “dating game” type panels in any form, including scripted in-character panels.
Low-Effort Panels
- Such as panels based solely on audience input (Hot take panels/Con horror Stories/open mics) are highly likely to be declined.
Panels Seeking Staff/Guests/or Co-Panelists

We will not provide panelists, either guests, staff, or attendees. You are responsible for finding your own co-presenters for your own panel.
No Messes
- In your panel you will not be able to pass out any food stuffs, or anything that will cause damage to the room. Such as but not limited to silly string, spray paints in any form, etc.
Projectiles and/or Pyrotechnics

Your panel cannot involve projectiles or pyrotechnics.

- This is historically our most submitted category, so be unique to stand out!
Online to In-Person Concepts

Just because a concept works as an online show, that doesn’t mean it will translate well to a live audience and make a good panel.
Multi-Year Content

If a panel has been submitted several years in a row, we reserve the right to cycle it in order to highlight new Ideas.
How Panel decisions are Made
-
Panel decisions are based on relevance to scope and how many panels of a similar type were submitted, they’re not made on a personal basis.
Badges
- Each accepted panel gets ONE 4-DAY BADGE.
Publicity
- Only panel titles and descriptions will be listed in the Programming Book and MomoCon App. Panelist names/Group Names will not be printed or posted publicly.
Other Items
- Panelists badges does not grant early/late access to Dealer/Artis Halls, Car Shows nor does it grant entrance into competing in Contests. If you wish to vend/show/participate in those events, then you will need to separately sign-up for those events.
