WaeBak Studios is an indie animation studio founded by writer/creator Gary Trimarchi. Their slice-of-life animated series, Failing Upward, was successfully funded on IndieGoGo in 2017 and has developed a following on Youtube, Newgrounds, and TikTok. Their new sci-fi/comedy project, Starstruck, is currently in production and stars Jenny Yokobori (Hello Kitty, Genshin Impact, The Simpsons). In 2026, WaeBak Studios will be branching out into gaming with their first co-production on the upcoming release Devil Chaser from creators Avengedog and Ian V.
