studio keel is a new, Tokyo-based anime studio and offshoot of studio MOTHER. studio keel enthusiastically embraces the changing face of anime culture through its inkfish sub-team, which is a fully integrated English-speaking team of creators from around the globe.

In 2026, studio keel has been working on animated promotional videos for Gyakuten Othellonia and the dark fantasy manga Tower Dungeon by Tsutomu Nihei. This year, inkfish is sending animation supervisor and director Tahoe (animation supervisor on Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199) to MomoCon, along with chief production coordinator evelyn (Maebashi Witches, Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc, Watanare, Be Forever Yamato: Rebel 3199).
