MomoCon brings together fans of Japanese Anime, American Animation, Comics, Video Games, and Tabletop Games to celebrate their passion by costuming / cosplay, browsing the huge exhibitors hall, meeting celebrity voice talent, designers, and writers behind their favorite shows, games, and comics and much much more over this 4 day event. We can’t wait to see you May 25-28, 2023!

When and where is MomoCon 2023?

MomoCon 2023 will take place over 4 days, May 25-28, 2023, at the Georgia World Congress Center .

What should I expect to see at MomoCon?

MomoCon is a 4-day extravaganza with costume, arcades, panels, celebrities, meetups, tournaments, open gaming, concerts, wrestling, stages, crowds, fans, and so much more!

The event runs 24 hours/day from Thursday at 2p to Sunday at 5p, but most panel programming is from 10a to 1a on the main days. Arcades and gaming are open late/all night. Almost all events are free with your badge, the exceptions being offsite events (parties, the rave), some workshops with fees for materials, and some tournaments with a buy-in that goes to the prize pool for winners. We do offer free entry tournaments in addition, however.

How do I register for MomoCon 2023?

MomoCon 2023 registration is live right now. To register in advance for the weekend or single day membership, you can use our online registration system.  If you are intending to attend more than one day, the best value is a weekend membership (you can pick up on any day).

All sales are final and we cannot offer refunds, but you are welcome to resell your membership and you have the the ability to edit the registration details through Eventeny.

How do I pick up my badge?

Please bring your confirmation email (or yourself if you are purchasing on site) and your photo ID to the Registration area, located between the A and B buildings in the main lobby of the GWCC.  You can pick up pre-purchased badges here, or purchase your day-of membership (please note, walk up purchases are cashless and we only accept debit or credit card). Traveling with someone 16 or younger?  They will need someone 18 or older present at the time of pickup to sign in with them.  We always recommend kids 13 and under be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you chose the mailed option, you only have to bring your badge to enter the event.  If you have any issues receiving your badge and you’ve chosen the mailed option, please proceed to the Will Call window. Single day and standard 4-day memberships are not mailed.

Picking up for someone else? You’ll need to bring their confirmation, a photo or copy of their photo ID, and a written note giving you permission to pick up the membership. Parents or the person who purchased the membership can pick up for any minors.

Dealers, Artists, Exhibitors, and partners in the Exhibit Hall pick up badges as they load into their booth, please contact your respective MomoCon director for more information.

Panelists who have been issued a badge through panels@momocon.com can pick up packets at the Will Call Window.

Volunteers pick up badges from their respective departments, please contact your director for specific information.

Patrons with mobility issues or those with disabilities should proceed to the Will Call/Disabilities window to receive your pre-registered badge or purchase badge on site.

What are my transport/parking options?

  • Planes: Fly into Atlanta International Airport (ATL), and you can take MARTA, Rideshare, or Taxi directly to the venue.
  • Trains: MARTA has a Rail Stop for the GWCC, connected to directly to our venue.
  • Automobiles: Spot Hero, Park Mobile, and Red Deck (located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30303) options are available at nearby lots.  We HIGHLY recommend you pre-purchase parking if you intend to commute into the event each day, as the nearby lots will sell out. Red Deck has a main entrance from a turn off of Centennial Olympic Park Drive.

What should I bring with me?

  • Comfortable Shoes! The building MomoCon is located in is MASSIVE, which is great to prevent crowding with you and 45,000 of your soon-to-be closest friends, but less great when you’re trekking across it multiple times a day! Even if you have the most FIRE cosplay shoes, bring a backup pair of sneakers to use for transport.
  • Fun Outfits! Break out your latest cosplay, awesome tees, or just be stylin’ and profilin’ on the show floor in the best threads. Cosplay is welcome and encouraged, all types not just anime and games!
  • Your Confirmation and Photo ID for badge pickup
  • Parking confirmation – we highly recommend pre-purchasing Red Deck parking, be sure to bring your confirmation with you for parking!
  • Snacks – While the venue has food for purchase and there are many nearby restaurants, have some snacks or a water bottle with you in case you don’t want to leave, as well as any medications you take daily. Take care of yourself!
  • Battery Brick – You never know when you’ll find an open outlet so be prepared for 4 days of wild times by bringing a backup battery pack or brick!

Looking for specifics of guest panel appearances?  The app is the best way to search for individual guests!

What are the hours and pricing for one-day memberships?

Free Membership to children 9 and under when accompanied by an adult at the door.

Adults do not need to register children 9 and under in advance and can get a kids badge onsite.

Wednesday May 24 (registration and badge pickup only!): Registration hours – 5p – 9p
Thursday May 25: 3PM – 2AM (registration – 9a – 8p)  $40 single day price
Friday May 26: 10AM – 2AM (registration – 9a – 8p)  $50 single day price
Saturday May 27: 10AM – 2AM (registration – 9a – 8p)  $55 single day price
Sunday May 28: 10AM – 5PM (registration – 9a – 3p)  $45 single day price

4-Day Memberships will be $95 at the door. Please note registration is CASHLESS, be prepared to purchase with a debit or credit card on site.
