Hailing from the frozen north of New England, Doug, a.k.a. “Elder Jester”, fell out of the miniature hobby as a teenager but found his way back into the miniature painting world after years away. He loves to explore various techniques, miniatures, and styles and has painted everything from elaborate narrative dioramas to single comic-style miniatures. Some of his favorite things to paint are story-driven scenes that are both narratively focused and visually compelling.
