Area Guide

The Georgia World Congress Center and Omni Hotel are located in Downtown Atlanta, off of Marietta street and bordered by Centennial Park and the Georgia Dome.  The surrounding area contains several restaurants, supermarkets within a few blocks, drug stores, several different parking options and other features.

Restaurants in the area include a large food court with many fast food options in the CNN Center, higher end sit-down restaurants for a classy night out like Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, and many mid-price options, like Der Biergarten, Ted’s Montana Grill, and many others.

Restaurants with Vegan and Vegetarian options in the area include: Chinese Buddha, Green Sprout, Mellow Mushroom, Village Pizza Company, Cecilia’s Bakeshop, Cafe Sunflower, The Olive Bistro, Dulce Vegan Bakery and Cafe, Healthful Essence, and Soul Vegetarian 2.

Some interesting options also include the GameX experience, with food, a full bar and a large arcade, Cigar Times for smokers, and Googie Burger in the park (featuring alcoholic milkshakes for those over 21).

NECESSITIES

Should you need further care, two hospitals are very close to the venue (Grady Memorial and Emory Midtown).  If you take a walk down West Peachtree Street, you will reach a Publix.  Ask your hotel concierge for detailed information about these and other locations.
